Bridal Wars by Forever Friends Bridal

Over $20,000 in prizes and still growing!

Check out this amazing event, being held in Port Perry, ON this Sunday (August 7th)

Each team will be timed and the fastest 10 teams will advance their bride onto the cake eating event.

Cake Eating Event (Cake courtesy of “Cakes By Stephanie”)

• The cake eating event will take place on the front lawn by the Forever Friends Bridal sign at 4:00pm

• There will be a giant slab cake filled with large poker chips that will be numbered 1 thru to 20 (assuming we have 20 prizes) and the prizes will be divided up evenly between the brides. i.e. 10 brides/20 prizes… each bride will win 2 prizes only and then stop playing.

• The winning bride will chose one of her team mates to hold a bag that the bride will have to put her winning poker chips into once she finds them. The team mate will be given a spot to stand behind a line and can only cross the line to pick up a poker chip the bride might have dropped.

• Brides must have their hands behind her back at all times and will be disqualified if she uses her hands in anyway during the event. If someone is disqualified and they had already won a prize, the prize will be given away to one of the other winning contestants by a random draw after all brides have found the chips.

• Ready, Set, Go…..once a bride finds her first poker chip, she has to run to her team mate that is holding the bag for her poker chips and the bride will have to put the poker chip into the bag with her mouth (no hands and no help from team mate) If she drops the poker chip, then her team mate holding the bag will come and pick the chip up with her hands, put it in the bag, and then run back to her spot on the other side of the line with the bride before the bride can run back to the cake to find another chip.

• Once the first poker chip is in the bag, she can then go back to the cake and find her next poker chip. Only one chip at a time can be taken out of the cake. If the bride finds two at once, then she will have to decide which one she will take to the bag first.

• Once all chips are found, we will read out what each bride has won (smallest to largest leaving the honeymoon vacation to the end). After everything is over, the winning brides will come into the store and be given their official “coupons” from the individual companies and sign a received document for each coupon they are given.

Plantable, Green Wedding Invitations by MDC

MDC Designs eco invitations are our most environmentally friendly designs and are perfect for green weddings. The majority of our handmade wedding invitations contain tree free and recycled papers as well as papers made with alternative energy, but in this line every paper is made of tree free or recycled paper.

About Bloomin Wedding Invitations: MDC Designs is proud to be an affiliate of Bloomin and to carry the Bloomin Wedding Invitation Line. These earth friendly invitations are made in a solar powered facility using the most earth friendly methods.

What kind of paper is included in the Bloomin suites? Bloomin plantable invitations are handcrafted from 100% recycled, post-consumer paper and embedded with wildflower seeds. Each sheet is crafted one at a time and slight variations in texture, color or printing is not uncommon. These subtle variations are the mark of a truly unique product. No two invitations are exactly alike and you should expect the following:

• Slight variation in paper color and thickness between pieces of seed pape

• Variation in the same ink color printed on seed paper compared to cardstock

• Random distribution of seeds that may potentially intersect text or design
